American University Law School hosts a discussion on the Supreme Court’s recent decision to uphold the health care law. Legal scholars in tax, health and constitutional law discuss the impact of the law on politics, the Constitution and health care.

Panelists revisit the Supreme Court’s decision in the health care case. Each speaker takes a on different aspect of the Court’s decision.

SCOTUSblog’s Tom Goldstein outlines the decision and discusses individual mandate & Medicaid expansion while also tackling the controversial decision from Chief Justice John Roberts to viote for the bill and the way the media covered the case.

American University professor Steve Wermiel outlines the future implications of the decision and fellow professor Steve Vladeck talked about the decision’s impact on the spending power with Benjamin Leff discussing the taxing power.
