The Interior Department hosted a discussion on deepwater drilling blowouts like the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The Government’s ban on exploratory deepwater drilling is scheduled to end November 30th. Government officials and industry executives discuss efforts to improve the ability to respond to blowouts as that deadline approaches.
