French President Nicolas Sarkozy sat down with France 2 Television for an exclusive interview on politics in France, the economy, and the government's proposal to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62. He also denied allegations that he accepted illegal donations from L’Oreal heiress and France’s richest woman, Liliane Bettencourt to fund his 2007 presidential campaign.
