Justice Breyer Discusses Constitutionalism in China

The Brookings Institution hosts a discussion on the rule of law in China, featuring Peking University Law School Professor He Weifang, one of China’s most influential legal thinkers.

He discusses his new book, "In the Name of Justice: Striving for the Rule of Law in China"

Former U.S. Ambassador to China and Republican Presidential Candidate Jon Huntsman, hosts a panel of American legal scholars to discuss the prospects and challenges for an independent rule of law in China.

Finally, U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice Stephen Breyer discusses the idea of a constitution in China, its significance and what one might look like, with John Thornton, chairman of the Board of Trustes of Brookings.
