Author Danny Parker talks about his book, “Fatal Crossroads: The Untold Story of the Malmedy Massacre at the Battle of the Bulge.” On December 17th, 1944, an American convoy traveling through Belgium was spotted and captured by German troops. The POWs were brought to a field where they were shot and about half were killed. Many details of the massacre remain unknown. One of the few living survivors of the massacre spoke at this event about his own experiences, telling how he escaped death.
