U.S. Marine Corps Commandant General James Amos spoke about the new strategic defense guidance put forth by President Obama earlier this year.
He also talked about how the U.S. strategic pivot to Asia will impact the Marine Corps' strategic role, after more than 10 years of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
General Amos recently returned from a trip to the Asia-Pacific region where he visited the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
