Marking Iraq War's End, President Obama Heads to Ft. Bragg

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama traveled to Fort Bragg, North Carolina to speak to the troops on the end of the Iraq War and the sacrifices and achievements of the troops at Fort Bragg, members of the Armed Forces and their families.

In October, President Obama officially announced the withdrawal of all American troops from Iraq by year’s end.  He met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Monday and said that relations between Iraq and the U.S. will be a “normal relationship among between sovereign nations.”
