Military Readiness Amidst Defense Budget Cuts

Fmr. National Intelligence Dir. Dennis Blair

Washington, DC
Monday, November 28, 2011

Former National Intelligence Director Dennis Blair spoke today about military readiness and potential defense budget cuts.

The Pentagon is facing $450 billion in cuts in projected spending over the next 10 years, an amount that could more than double beginning in 2013 with automatic cuts because the deficit-reduction committee failed to reach an agreement.  The Aspen Institute in Washington, DC is hosting this event.
