After the Illinois GOP Primary was called for Mitt Romney, he spoke to supporters at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, IL. The state has 54 delegates at stake tonight.
The former Massachusetts governor targeted the majority of his remarks at President Obama. He spoke about his father's work in the auto industry and said that his own experience in business has taught him how to create jobs.
Mitt Romney told supporters that every great innovatino begins with a dream. "The genius of American is that we nurture these dreams and the dreamer," he said. Then he warned that the president's "job-killing regulations" were "crushing the dreamers."
The candidate looked forward to the November election and said it would be "an election about principles."
