Mitt Romney Campaigns in Florida

Orlando, Florida
Tuesday, June 12, 2012

Mitt Romney campaigned in the battleground state of Florida Tuesday where he told a group of small business owners the President is "out of  touch with what’s happening across America."

"People across America are having a hard time,” Romney said. “The president doesn’t understand how his policies have made things so hard for the American people. It’s finally time to have a president who’s in touch with what’s happening in America and I am and I’ll bring back America’s strength.”

Romney spoke to small business owners invited by the National Federation of Independent Businesses at Con-Air Industries, an air filtering manufacturer in Orlando. Employees there arranged large stacks of pink and blue filter material behind Romney to spell out Mitt.

The former Governor also talked about the Supreme Court's upcoming decision on the Affordable Care Act as well as his plans to repeal and replace the federal health care law he calls “Obamacare” if he becomes President.

It was the former Governor's first visit to Central Florida since winning the Florida Republican primary in January.

The Romney campaign also released a new web video, "The Only Ones Affected?" on Tuesday which focused on the negative impact of the federal health care law on small businesses.
