Mitt Romney Reacts to Jobs Report, "America is Struggling"

Washington, DC
Friday, July 6, 2012

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney reacted Friday to the latest monthly jobs report. The Labor Department says the economy added 80,000 jobs in June, less than expected, while the unemployment rate held steady at 8.2%.

Mr. Romney spoke from New Hampshire, where he’s vacationing with his family.

The figures show that the U.S. added 80,000 jobs in June.  Professional and business services added jobs, and employment in other major industries changed little over the month.

The BLS surveys about 140,000 businesses and government agencies in order to provide industry figures on employment, hours and earnings for American workers.
