Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney remarked on jobs and the economy today in Sparks, Nevada outside of Reno, following the earlier news of a lowered unemployment rate and a net increase in jobs.
The former Massachusetts Governor called the news good and said that he hoped it would continue. "I don't accept the idea that America is in decline," he said to supporters and Western Nevada Supply Company employees. Former Governor Romney has been campaigning this week in Nevada, where the state's Republicans will tomorrow hold their party caucuses.
