NTSB Chairman on Transportation Safety and Challenges

National Transportation Safety Board Chairman Deborah Hersman spoke to reporters Wednesday to discuss transportation safety and challenges, including the investigation into Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner fleet. All 50 of Boeing’s 787 fleet have been grounded due to battery failures and other glitches. Chairman Hersman is rumored to be a candidate to replace Ray Lahood as Transportation Secretary. The Christian Science Monitor hosted this event.
