National Journal Compares the 2012 Candidates

The National Journal hosted an event comparing the 2012 presidential candidates, former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama.

The forum analyzed key issues defining the 2012 presidential election including domestic and foreign policy as well as examine each candidates contrasting policy ideas and vision for America.  The event next provided a forecast for the upcoming general election on November 6th.  In addition, a third panel featured representatives from each campaign and the Assistant Director of the Quinnipiac Polling Institute for discussion on the general election forecast.

On Tuesday, Mitt Romney officially clinched the Republican nomination after winning the Texas primary and surpassing the 1,144 delegates needed to win the GOP nomination.
