National Journal Live Previews 2012 Elections

National Journal Live hosted a discussion previewing the 2012 elections Tuesday at the Newseum in Washington, DC.

The Cook Political Report editor and publisher Charlie Cook  made remarks, along with former congressmen Tom Davis of Virginia and Martin Frost of Texas. Cook also serves as a political analyst for the National Journal.  

Topics of discussion includd 2012 election trends, Washington politics and an outlook on the 2012 presidential race along with key congressional races.

The speakers also outlined the main challenges and opportunities moving forward for the Republican and Democratic parties.
