Nebraska Senate Debate

Omaha, Nebraska
Monday, October 1, 2012

A third and likely final debate in the Nebraska Senate race is set for Monday. Republican Deb Fischer will go face-to-face with Democrat Bob Kerrey.

Kerrey is looking to return to the Senate after leaving office in 2001.  Fischer has served as a Nebraska state senator since 2004.

The  two campaigns have deliberated about scheduling these debates for several months.  Kerrey has repeatedly called for more, while Fischer agreed to only three.

The two participated in their first debate in late August and the second debate was held last week in Omaha.  Tonight's coverage is courtesy NET News.
