Newsmakers with Former Gov. Tim Pawlenty

Washington, DC
Sunday, November 18, 2012

This week on Newsmakers, Former Governor and current Financial Services Roundtable President & CEO Tim Pawlenty (R-MN) discusses the financial sector and business communities response to the “fiscal cliff” and the U.S. economy.

The Financial Services Roundtable is made up largely of banks and credit card companies. Pawlenty ran for president early in this cycle, and after he left the race, he became co-chair of Mitt Romney’s campaign for President. In September he left that position. The Financial Services Roundtable announced on Sept. 20 that Mr. Pawlenty would be its President and CEO.

Our guest reporters are Politico Assistant Editor of Financial Services MJ Lee and The Hill Reporter Peter Schroeder.
