Obama and Romney Campaign Advisers Discuss Education Policy

In the run-up to the second presidential debate and the general election, the American Enterprise Institute hosted a debate Tuesday with Obama and Romney campaign education policy advisers in Washington, DC.  

Education scholars discussed education policy, the role of the federal government in education and the best practices in closing achievement gaps in America. 

Speakers included: America Achieves Co-founder and Executive Chairman Jon Schnur; Harvard University Education Assistant Professor Martin West; and Director of American Enterprise Institute’s Education Policy Studies Frederick Hess.
