Obama's Campaign Manager Reflects on the 2012 Election

Washington, DC
Tuesday, November 20, 2012

President Obama’s re-election campaign manager Jim Messina criticized public opinion polls for being repeatedly wrong leading up to the presidential election. Messina talked about the campaign Tuesday with Politico Correspondent Mike Allen. Messina also said the Romney campaign’s biggest mistake was their Jeep ad that suggested production was moving to China.

Prior to his work with the President as a political strategist, Messina served as White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations from 2009 to 2011.
