Speakers, including former Surgeon General Dr. David Satcher, NYC Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and Connecticut Senator Christopher Murphy, discuss the challenges facing mental health illness including the lack of funding and the stigma that accompanies it.
Also speaking at this event are two activists who lost their sons to mental illness and addiction. This forum was part of the annual Clinton Foundation “Health Matters” conference held in La Quinta, Calif.
