Panelists Examine U.S-Taiwan-China Relationship in an Election Year

The Center for National Policy will host a panel discussion to examine the potential for change in the relationship between the U.S., China and Taiwan in an election year.

Elections in the United States and Taiwan, along with a leadership transition in China, will take place this year. Panelists will discuss the prospects for continuity and change in the relationship between the U.S., China and Taiwan.

Panelists include: Director of the Center for Northeast Asian Policy Studies Richard Bush at the Brookings Institution; Carnegie Endowment's Asia Program visiting scholar Wei (Victoria) Hongxia; and Fellow for American Government and Politics at the Center for National Policy Anil Mammen.

Center for National Policy President Scott Bates will moderate the discussion.
