Pres. Obama Campaigns in Cincinnati & Columbus, OH

Ohio
Monday, September 17, 2012

President Obama traveled to Ohio for two grassroots campaign events on Monday. The first was held at Eden Park's Seasongood Pavilion in Cincinnati. The second, was held at Schiller Park in Columbus.

The President detailed how his policies are aimed at middle-class families and compared his programs to that of GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Early voting became an issue in Ohio after Ohio Secretary of State John Husted (R) announced new rules stating that local election boards could not set their own voting hours. Obama for America filed a lawsuit against Husted and he reversed his decision after a court overturned it.
