President Obama said on Friday he believes Congress can and will work together in the coming weeks to avoid the so-called “fiscal cliff”. These remarks came during a visit to the Rodon Group manufacturing facility in Hatfield, Pennsylvania…the producer of K’NEX construction toys.
The event is part of the White House’s effort to get public support for the President’s proposal, which would end the Bush-era income tax cuts on income of $250,000 and above. The “cliff” refers to automatic spending cuts and tax increases that begin to take effect in January.
