President Obama unveiled a new U.S. military strategy Thursday. It’s a plan that is expected to place more emphasis on the Asia. Defense Sec. Leon Panetta and Gen. Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, also made remarks.

It’s a plan that is expected to place more emphasis on the Asia.  This all comes as the Defense Department is facing cuts and sequestration.

After remarks by the leaders, Pentagon officials held a press conference to further discuss and answer questions on the U.S. military's current and future challenges in an era of budget cuts.
