President Obama, Vice President Biden, First Lady Michelle Obama and Jill Biden traveled to New Hampshire for a campaign rally followed by a similar rally in Iowa.
The trip came a day after the two men formally accepted their presidential and vice presidential nominations at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Following the events in Iowa, President Obama will begin on a two-day bus tour through Florida for campaign stop that will focus on his administrations economic policies. The campaign has confirmed that former Republican Governor of Florida Charlie Christ, who has since become an Independent, will introduce the President in at least one of his Florida stops. Vice President Biden will travel to Ohio on a two-day swing that will include stops in southern and eastern Ohio.
