President Goes to Historic Apollo Theater for Fundraiser

President Obama caps off an evening of fundraising events for his reelection bid as he makes remarks at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

The evening began with approximately 100 supporters at Daniel Restaurant, followed by a second event  at  the same location with approximately 60 guests. Tickets for the first event start at $5,000, and $15,000 for the second. Later, he attends a fundraiser at the home of Spike Lee, attended by about 45 guests. Tickets for this event are $35,800.

The Apollo Theater event will have over 1,400 guests, and features musical performances by Al Green and India.Arie. Lin-Manuel Miranda will emcee the event. There are limited Gen44 tickets available for $100, and general admission tickets start at $200.

All proceeds from these fundraisers will go to the Obama Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Obama for America and the Democratic National Committee.
