President Obama is expected to break fundraising records for a Democratic candidate during two campaign events in San Antonio, Texas, today.
The President's first stop was at a lunch event in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center where over 1,000 attendees were expected contribute $3 to $4 million to his re-election campaign. He will likely pickup an additional $1 million at a fundraiser in the private home of a supporter this afternoon.
Later in the day, he traveled to Austin, Texas where he spoke at the Austin Music Hall. Singer Jerry Jeff Walker warmed up the crowd before the President's remarks.
