President Obama travelled to Colorado Friday to view wildfire damage and get an update from firefighters on the scene.
Colorado is fighting the state's largest wildfire on record just west of Colorado Springs. More than 30,000 residents have been forced to evacuate. The United States Air Force Academy has also evacuated some buildings on the west side of the campus. Temperatures in the area have been unseasonably high.
Another fire is burning near Fort Collins, Colo., sparked by lightening on June 9. The High Park fire has destroyed 257 homes.
