Queen Elizabeth II addressed a joint session of Parliament as part of her Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which mark 60 years since her accession to the throne on Feb. 6, 1952.
C-SPAN2 simulcasted the BBC’s coverage of the event, hosted by Huw Edwards.
The ceremony included speeches by Baroness D’Souza, Speaker of the House of Lords, and John Bercow, Speaker of the House of Commons.
Both houses of Parliament presented the Queen with the gift of a Diamond Jubilee window that will be installed above the north door in Westminster Hall later this year.
