British Prime Minister David Cameron told member in the House of Commons Wednesday that the horsemeat scandal in the U.K. is “appalling” and “completely unacceptable.” The UK’s Food Standard Agency is looking into claims of mislabeling on beef products in some British supermarkets. So far, two slaughterhouses have been raided since the inquiry began last month. Prime Minister Cameron told members tougher inspections is needed and urged schools and prisons to conduct their own thorough investigations. Members also asked the Prime Minister questions on the British economy and the recent European Union budget vote.
