Rep. Levin (D-MI) Speaks on Tax Reform

Washington, DC
Tuesday, January 15, 2013

Rep. Sander Levin (D-MI), ranking member of the House Ways and Means Committee, will speak with reporters at the Christian Science Monitor breakfast in Washington on Tuesday.

Rep. Levin will likely discuss changes to the tax code, as well as prospects for fixes for Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid financing, and trade legislation.

Congressman Levin voted in favor of the bill that avoided parts of the so-called “fiscal cliff.” Congress is facing three more fiscal deadlines in the near future, including the debt ceiling, automatic spending cuts and the end of a continuing resolution funding the government.
