Iowa and New Hampshire are traditionally the first to hold presidential primary contests, the first step in gauging a candidates’ likelihood of getting their party’s nomination. For the past few months, potential Republican presidential candidates have been testing the waters with frequent stops in the two states.
Republican Party of New Hampshire Jack Kimball and Republican Party of Iowa Matt Strawn relate the flurry of activity they’ve been engaged in ahead of the voting. Iowa’s caucuses are tentatively scheduled for Feb. 6, 2012, and New Hampshire’s primary is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 14, 2012.
They also give their opinions on the list of candidates, their strategies and chances against President Obama in November.
