At an event hosted by the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence's Legal Action Project, Retired Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens discussed gun laws and the second amendment.
During his time on the court, Justice Stevens authored key dissents in two second amendment cases, one in 2006 and one in 2008. He also authored dissents in a number of landmark cases during his 34-year tenure on the court. He retired in 2010.
