Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry heads to the Blue Strawberry Coffee Company in Cedar Rapids as he continues visiting Iowa cities and towns in advance of next week's caucus day.
The Texas governor has been polling in the 10 percent range in Iowa in recent days, double digits behind the current leaders, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney.
Gov. Perry filed a motion on Wednesday to get his name on the Virginia GOP primary ballot. That state's Republican party said Mr. Perry's campaign had not gathered the required 10,000 signatures in order to qualify.
