Presidential candidate Rick Santorum and former candidate Herman Cain addressed the Southern Republican Leadership Conference this afternoon in Charleston, South Carolina. They were joined by other GOP leaders and newsmakers, including RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, and Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC).
Former presidential candidate Herman Cain delivered the keynote speech at today's meeting of GOP leaders and political figures from 14 Southern states. The businessman-politician also made an unconventional endorsement: "I am endorsing We the People," the former candidate announced.
Former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA), who is polling in third place in the run up to Saturday's South Carolina Primary, also spoke at the conference, on the same day that Iowa announced that he took the most votes in the Iowa Caucuses, rather than Mitt Romney.
