Newt Gingrich talked about his early years in politics, his tenure as speaker of the House of Representatives, his relationship with President Clinton, the Obama administration, upcoming midterm elections, his conversion to Catholicism, and his possible entry into the 2012 Republican Party presidential race. Newt Gingrich was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1978, and served as speaker from 1995-99. Since leaving Congress, he has written more than 20 books and serves as an analyst on the Fox News Channel.
