Mitt Romney said Thursday he rejected a proposal by a Super PAC that would link President Obama to the controversial pastor Jeremiah Wright. According to the New York Times, Republican political strategists developed a $10 million dollar proposal that would help defeat President Obama, which was funded by conservative billionaire Joe Ricketts, founder of the Ending Spending Action Fund, The ad campaign would link the President to “the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., whose race-related sermons made him a highly charged figure in the 2008 campaign."
