On the day before the Iowa Caucuses, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) is on a five-city tour with his son, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). Their first stop was at the Des Moines' Marriott Downtown, where Rep. Paul spoke to supporters.
On Sunday, Rep. Paul told CNN's "State of the Union" that he expected to place first or second in the caucuses. He spoke from Texas, where he was taking a break from campaigning in Iowa.
The Des Moines Register poll released this weekend showed Rep. Paul in second place behind Mitt Romney, though some analysts predict that former Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA) may gain on him before all of the votes are counted on Tuesday.
