Defense Secretary Leon Panetta met with Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki at the Department of Veterans Affairs. The two Cabinet officials spoke to reporters after the meeting to announce that the Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense are ahead of schedule in linking their veterans’ health records electronically.
