Secretary of State Clinton Remarks on Returning to Work

Washington, DC
Wednesday, January 9, 2013

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she’s thrilled to be back at work and is looking forward to a smooth transition for the new Secretary of State.  Senator John Kerry (D-MA) was recently nominated to the office by President Obama.  In brief remarks with the press, Clinton does not call her departure a retirement, but rather "stepping off the very fast track for a little while."
