Senate Armed Services Cmte. Chairman Carl Levin (D-MI) and Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) spoke to reporters following a briefing on the Army's rules and procedures relevant to Major Nidal Malik Hasan's personnel records and the sharing of information with the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Major Hasan is alleged to have killed 13 people in the Fort Hood, TX shooting on November 5, 2009.
