The Senate Banking Committee conducted a hearing on monetary policy with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. In recent testimony before the House, the Fed Chairman indicated willingness to keep interest rates low. Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) chairs the Banking Committee.
