Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said he plans to bring the START treaty on nuclear arms to the floor as soon as the Senate holds a final vote on tax cuts. He also promised action this year on funding for the government in 2011, the DREAM Act and "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell."  For his part, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)  spoke out against Senate efforts to pass a spending bill for FY2011, and warned House Democrats against making any changes to the tax cuts bill.
