Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) along with Senate Democratic leaders Dick Durbin (D-IL), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and Patty Murray (D-WA) held a press conference with the media.
In remarks, Senator Reid urged House Speaker John Boehner to act regarding middle class tax cuts and said the Speaker is ignoring the voice of the American people.
In addition, the briefing focused on the Senate Democratic Agenda including Hurricane Sandy legislation. Sen. Schumer said help is desperately needed and he is hopeful that a bill can be passed.
