Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearing on Sudan

South Sudan recently declared independence from Sudan. The U.S. Special Envoy to Sudan, Princeton Lyman, was part of a U.S. delegation to the new country for the independence ceremonies.  He testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee about U.S. policies toward Sudan and South Sudan, including how the two countries can share oil revenues and Sudan’s continued presence on the list of countries that support international terrorism.
