Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) briefed reporters on the upcoming Senate agenda. Following the Majority Leader’s remarks we heard from Senate Republican Leaders.
Senator Reid said, he is “terribly disappointed that the Republican Caucus have ignored the wishes of the American people” in blocking President Obama’s jobs plan. This week the Senate is expected to work on the second installment of President Obama’s jobs plan, a $60 billion package for transportation infrastructure projects.
