Washington, DC
Tuesday, June 26, 2012

Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Senator John McCain (R-AZ) along with other Republican Senators held a briefing on the Obama administration security leaks and called for an independent investigation.

Senator McCain said, “we need a special counsel and we need someone who the American people can trust and we need to stop the leaks that are endangering the lives of those men and women serving or country with valor and courage.”  Recently, the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper announced additional measures to stem the leaks of classified information.
