House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) delivered remarks on the latest on the so-called "fiscal cliff" negotiations, the GOP tax cut proposal and his response to President Obama's remarks earlier Wednesday on the same topic.
He said that the House will vote on legislation on Thursday to keep taxes from rising for those whose income is below $1 million.
This morning President Obama rejected GOP criticism that his plan didn’t offer enough spending cuts. He urged Republicans to accept his proposal.
