On Friday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) was joined at a news conference by House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) to discuss the status of negotiations on the "fiscal cliff." Thursday night, Boehner pulled the second of his "Plan B" measures due to lack of support of GOP members to pass the bill. Boehner said that "Now it is up to the President to work with Senator Reid on legislation to avert the fiscal cliff."
