Summit Examines New Ways to Gather Military & Overseas Votes

The 2012 election will test reforms designed to make it easier for military and overseas voters to cast their ballots.

The Overseas Vote Foundation hosted a summit on innovative approaches to reach voters outside of the country. During the summit, PEW Center's Election Initiatives released a new report tracking the progress states have made in meeting the requirements of the Uniformed and Overseas Citizen Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) and Military & Overseas Voter Empowerment Act (MOVE).
